Tentu masih ingat
dengan Sayembara Lagu Taaruf yang dimenangkan oleh Eva Yolanda, gadis 17 tahun
asal Lombok, NTB. Eva harus melalui perjalanan panjang untuk berkompetisi
dengan ribuan peserta bertalenta di ajang yang digagas oleh AMAN TALENT MANAGEMENT dan BERSAMA MUSIC bekerja sama dengan ADIBAL PRODUCTION tersebut.
Event yang
berlangsung sejak bulan November 2020 tersebut sengaja diadakan untuk
mendapatkan penyanyi yang tepat untuk lagu “TAARUF” yang diciptakan oleh
Adibal. Setelah terseleksi ketat, para peserta kemudian bersaing di wadah
sosial media Instagram untuk menggapai posisi di TOP 78 dan berlanjut ke TOP 25,
yang akhirnya Eva-lah yang berhak mendapatkan lagu “TAARUF” sebagai single perdana miliknya seorang.
Setelah single-nya rilis di aplikasi musik digital pada 21 Maret 2021; akhirnya
rilis juga lah music video-nya di 27
Maret 2021 yang lalu.
Disutradarai oleh
Fei, music video ini juga merupakan
sebuah bentuk selebrasi bagi seluruh kontestan yang berpartisipasi dalam Sayembara
Lagu Taaruf kemarin. Proses pengerjaan yang dimulai dari story develop hingga editing
dilakukan oleh tim kreatif dari HOBAAH
PRODUCTION.
Mengikuti
perkembangan zaman yang marak akan semua yang berbau Korea, tim berhasil
membuat para penikmat yang sudah menonton music
video ini mengatakan bahwa mereka serasa nonton drama asal Korea. Quite dramatic dan bikin baper. Terpapar
jelas tentang perpisahan yang terjadi pada plot
dalam music video ini, namun tidak
sedangkal perselingkuhan sebagai sebab musababnya lho. It is more intense, memperlihatkan sebab lain di luar
perselingkuhan namun juga sanggup berakibat perpisahan.
Latar belakang lagu
“TAARUF”
sendiri diangkat Adibal dari isu hangat yang sempat viral beberapa waktu lalu,
melalui tangan dingin Adibal sang pencipta lirik nan puitis serta ide superb dari Yusup Tojiri selaku penata music lagu ini. Melibatkan
musisi-musisi berbakat di dalamnya seperti violist kenamaan Henry Lamiri, Ansul untuk mengisi instrument
suling, Vitto pada gitar, Acho yang mengisi
instrument Bass gitar dan Dodi pada table, menjadikan lagu terdengar
grande namun tetap gampang
dicerna oleh para penikmat musik Indonesia.
Secara umum, kata ta’aruf merupakan ajang perkenalan yang
mampu meluruhkan berbagai batasan, karena tujuan dari ta’aruf itu sendiri adalah keberhasilan sebuah ikatan yang dijalin.
Meskipun berlaku untuk semua jenis ikatan secara personal maupun bisnis, ta’aruf masih cukup sering dikaitkan
secara erat dengan perjodohan. Harapan untuk saling mengenal lebih dalam
sebelum melangsungkan pernikahan sakral sekali seumur hidup menjadi goal utamanya.
Karena isu perselingkuhan
sudah terlalu mainstream, maka lagu “TAARUF”
ini memilih untuk menonjolkan sebab perpisahan yang dikarenakan tidak saling
mengenal secara personal. Karakter yang diperankan oleh Eva pada music video ini adalah sosok yang
ternyata tempramental dan egois, sedangkan sang suami tidak cukup kuat untuk
mentolerir dan mengayomi karakter Eva tersebut. Ketidaksiapan untuk saling
menerima dan saling mengalah demi komitmen pernikahan itulah yang akhirnya
merunut pada perceraian.
Lalu, apa semua
berakhir begitu saja?!...
No no no. Selayaknya drama ala
Korea, sebuah cerita tidak akan berakhir sesingkat itu. Wajib ada naik turunnya
dan komplikasi konflik yang njelimet.
So, tim menjadikannya sebuah trilogi. Sebuah konsep unik dan pasti memancing
rasa penasaran.
Kenapa juga trilogi
music video ini layak ditunggu? Asal
tahu saja ya bahwa sepekan sebelum syuting, Eva dan Arman harus melalui proses
reading dan latihan demi mendalami peran mereka masing-masing. Kemudian pada
saat syuting pun mereka harus rela mengulang berkali-kali adegan berantem di
tangga, bukan karena tidak mampu tapi bukannya serius berantem, malah mereka
tergelak karena harus melakoni akting ini dengan teman yang sudah lama kenal. So ridiculous!
Ya alhasil, take berulang berantem yang menguras
tenaga di tangga ini membuat masing-masing mereka harus menuai lebam-lebam pada
beberapa bagian tubuh. Namun hal tersebut menunjukkan keseriusan mereka dalam
berperan di music video ini.
Untuk proses
aktingnya sendiri, Fei selaku sutradara dibantu oleh Janna yang juga kawan Eva
dan Arman. Janna adalah salah satu artis besutan Aman Talent Management yang
telah lebih dulu mencicipi dunia acting. Dirinya telah membintangi beberapa
judul di FTV, sehingga tepat dijadikan kawan berlatih bagi Eva dan Arman.

Surely, you all
still remember about Sayembara Lagu Taaruf and Eva Yolanda, a 17 years old girl
from Lombok, NTB who won the competition after a long way and tough battle with
other thousands competitors. This talent show was held by AMAN TALENT MANAGEMENT, BERSAMA
MUSIC and ADIBAL PRODUCTION.
Started on November
2020, the event was held in order to get the right person to sing the song “TAARUF”
that composed by Adibal. The selected ones compete offline then who made it joined
the competition via Instagram to get the TOP 78 and then the TOP 25, that’s
when Eva showed up as the winner and get the right to sing “TAARUF” which also
became her first single.
Her single released
on an music digital apps on March 21st 2021. Just a few days after
that, the music video released on March 27th 2021.
Directed by Fei,
this music video dedicated as a celebration for all who compete in Sayembara
Lagu Taaruf. The making process are done by HOBAAH PRODUCTION creative team. From the story develop to the
editing task.
Considering to what
happened nowadays, where Korean “things” are on the top, the team successfully
made the audiences said that they feel like watching Korean Drama when they
watched the music video. Quite dramatic and carried them away. A separation is
clearly showed in the music video, but it is not as shallow as a cheating as
the cause. It is more intense, it makes us think there is another cause which
lead to a separation.
The song “TAARUF”
itself was created based on the hot issue that became viral not so long ago.
Through Adibal’s hand and Yusup Tojiri’s superb idea, there come a poetic lyric
and astonishing music work, especially when Henry Lamiri -the great violist, Asul in Suling, Vitto In guitar,
Acho in Bass guitar and Dodi in Tabla joined the team. Those
hardwork finally creates a sophisticated song that easily understood by all of the
music lovers in Indonesia.
In general, the
word ta’aruf means to know each other
and put any boundaries aside since the aim is to make a good bond. It works for
many kind circumstances, between personal only to a business matters. But most
of the times, ta’aruf was related
with an engagement of a couple. Its main goal is so the couple knowing each
other very well first before they are having a sacred marriage, once in a
lifetime.
Cheating issues are
too mainstream to be bubbled up, so the song “TAARUF” preferred to
give an extra statement on the separation that caused by not knowing each other’s
character very well. In the play, Eva’s character is tempramental and egois. On
the other hand, the husband is not determined enough to tolerate and calm Eva’s
down.
That condition
getting worse because they are not really ready to accept and compromised for
the sake of their marriage. Then it just get solved by getting divorce.
Is this just ended
up like that?!...
No no no. Took an
example to Korean dramas, a story wil not end that fast. There must be lots of
ups and downs, and a very complicated conflicts. So, the team decided to make
it in to a trilogy. A very unique concept and will absolutely lured
curiousities.
Why this trilogy worth
to wait? For your information, Eva and Arman have to get through the reading
and practicing hours to understand the role they are going to play. In the
shooting process they have to repeat the take many times, but not caused by
they incapability to act. They are a close friend, it is very hard to act that
they are get into a real fight as a couple. They can’t take it seriously, they
laughed on it. So ridiculous!
Well, it’s do made
them to repeat the take where they have to fight on the staircase, which so tiring and made
them got bruises on some part of their body. On the good side, it shows us how
hard they effort to act well in this music video.
For the acting, Fei
as the director got a help from Janna who also befriended with Eva and Arman.
Janna is one of the artist of Aman talent Management, she’s been on act before
Eva and Arman. She starred on a few titles of FTV, it’s enough to made her as
the right person to be a partner for Eva and Arman to practice.
